This system was created to assist the collector in identification of their aafes pogs collection.

In following in the U.S. Military Payment Certificates scheme.

The numbers and letters are as follows

1. Numbers before the letter are the printing of the pogs

2. The letters progress up for each POG skipping the letter "I" as not to be confused with the number 1.

3. The denomination is then used, and finally in following in military fashion, the last number stands for 1 each or if you have more, 2 each, 3 each ect.

4. Pogs with the W or WO  signify with or with out  Wording.
